Steelers Coach Reportedly 'Badly Burned' in Fire

WPXI-TV is reporting Pittsburgh Steelers running backs coach Kirby Wilson was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital Friday morning.

He was flown to a Pittsburgh-area hospital. It was unclear which facility is caring for the coach—Mercy Hospital, The Western Pennsylvania Hospital and UPMC-Presbyterian did not list him as a patient. There is no word on his condition.

The Steelers are preparing for their playoff game Sunday afternoon against the Denver Broncos.

On the team's website, Steelers President Art Rooney II made the following statement:

"First and foremost our thoughts and prayers are with Kirby and his entire family. We are saddened to hear about this unfortunate situation but we know that he has the best medical care in the country treating him. The entire organization is praying for Kirby to have a full recovery and we will be by his side through this difficult time."
