Repairman Charged with Stealing Pills from Upper St. Clair Client

And one other local courts update.

Theft Charge

Repairman Michael J. Adams, 26, of Oakwood Avenue in West View Borough, came into the Upper St. Clair Township police headquarters on April 26 and admitted to stealing $21 worth of prescription pills from an Upper St. Clair client three days earlier, according to court documents.

Police charged Adams with theft by unlawful taking, but on Monday, he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct before district Judge Robert C. Wyda and agreed to pay restitution. He was also fined approximately $150.

Community Service for Weapons Charges

Sean Paul Conley-Reifer, 21, of Victoria Drive in Brentwood Borough, and Jonathan C. Lyons, 20, of Bergman Street in Pittsburgh's Sheraden neighborhood, were both charged by Upper St. Clair police on May 31 with possession of prohibited offensive weapons.

On Monday, Conley-Reifer and Lyons both agreed before Judge Wyda to complete 30 hours of community service and avoid all negative contact with police for three months, according to court documents. Should they do so, their misdemeanor charges will be reduced to summary offenses.
