Man Picked Up For DUI on Route 19

All charges against a Carnegie man arrested by for allegedly driving drunk were held for court on Monday.

Police arrested Stephen M. Tabone, 59, of 1 Sylvan Ave. Ext. on February 11 when the officer stated he saw a vehicle "straddling both southbound lanes" of Route 19 near Orr Road.

According to the criminal complaint, the officer followed the vehicle for a couple miles and saw it "weaving heavily" and fluctuating in speeds between 25 and 45 mph in 40 and 45 mph zones.

When the officer pulled over Tabone and asked him how much he had to drink, Tabone replied, "Too much," according to the complaint.

Tabone didn't supply enough air during the breathalyzer test. He failed a field sobriety test.

The case against a woman accused of breaking into an Upper St. Clair townhouse and assualting another woman inside was continued for six months on Monday.

Brittany Leigh Repko, 24, of 36 E. 1st Ave., Latrobe, is charged with one count of burglary and one count of simple assault.

According to the criminal complaint, Repko followed the father of their 1-year-old son to the Pinehurst Drive residence he was visiting on April 1 after he met her in the parking lot to drop off the boy.

He told police that he heard commotion upstairs and found Repko assaulting the woman who lives at the Pinehurst Drive home.

Repko and the victim agreed to a plea deal. told Repko her charges will be reduced to summary violations if she completes anger management classes, performs 50 hours of community service and has no contact with the victim within the next six months.
