Man Charged With Assault on Upper St. Clair High School Campus

The Turtle Creek man was at a football game.

The Upper St. Clair football season may have come to a close, but the case against a man accused of assaulting a woman outside of a game is still open.

Simple assault and harassment charges were held for court in district Judge Robert Wyda's courtroom on Monday against Phillip Tinker, 29, of Turtle Creek.

Tinker is accused of getting in a verbal argument with a woman in the stands at Upper St. Clair football's season opener against Woodland Hills on Aug. 31.

According to the criminal complaint filed by the Upper St. Clair police, the woman left the stands and was going to go home. Tinker is then accused of assaulting the woman, taking the keys and leaving. The woman complained of head pain and was evaluated by paramedics, according to the complaint.
