High School Student Arrested, Suspected of Making Terroristic Threat

The Upper St. Clair superintendent sent out an e-alert to parents Thursday morning.

There was a reported threat to Thursday morning.

Superintendent Patrick O'Toole released the following statement:

"This morning, the received a report that an Upper St. Clair High School student made a terroristic threat. 

"The student allegedly involved was apprehended at his home. The township police were at the high school this morning as a precaution in the event that the student could not be found at his home. The student is presently being questioned by the police.

"Further details will be released when available. For the purpose of school safety, it is important that everyone report information or observations of a suspicious nature received at any time to police or school officials."
