Former Employee Charged in Pizzeria Burglary

More than $2,000 stolen from Fellini's Pizzeria in Bethel Park.

A former employee of Fellini's Pizzeria waived his preliminary hearing on Monday on burglary charges.

Joshua Hoffman, 27, of 433 Jennie Dr., Pittsburgh, PA, 15236, is charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, criminal trespass, burglary and criminal mischief.

In the criminal complaint filed with district Judge Robert Wyda, Bethel Park police stated a safe containing $2,000 and $80 from the cash register were found missing from the Bethel Park pizzeria on Broughton Road on July 30.

Bethel Park police stated they used security camera footage to identify the suspect. According to the complaint, Hoffman broke a window in the back of the store and reached in to unlock the rear door. 

Hoffman was listed as a former employee of the pizzeria in the criminal complaint.
