Carmike Corporate Receives Bomb Warning

The Carmike Cinemas corporate office has been the target of bomb threats, according to several news sources.

Bethel Park police said they had no information about any threats pertaining to the Carmike 10 at South Hills Village.

Carmike officials said a bomb threat was called into the corporate offices in Columbus, GA, Friday morning, claiming multiple bombs had been planted in theater locations across the country.

According to information received by The Tennessean in Nashville, the bomb threat came from a Hispanic rights organization that claimed there was a bomb threat in nine Carmike theaters across the United States.

There are numerous reports from across the country that theaters are being searched.
