Another Theft Reported at South Hills Village Sears

The accused pleaded guilty to a summary offense.

A Peters Township man pleaded guilty to a summary retail theft charge before district Judge Robert C. Wyda on Aug. 5, according to court documents.

Upper St. Clair Township police charged Vincent M. Fanase, 36, of East McMurray Road, with stealing a snapper hammer holder from the Sears at South Hills Village on July 27.

Wyda, before his death later that night, sentenced Fanase to pay $449 in fines and court costs.

Loss prevention officers at that same Sears apprehended a woman on July 30, claiming that she twice stole items from the store that month.
