Iraq - Proving to be Another Costly Foreign Policy Debacle

It becomes increasingly clear with the passage of time that the United States has again placed its bet on the wrong horse through incurring enormous casualties and expense in order to rescue the people of Iraq from a ruthless dictator.

Our reconstituted “ally” has moved against United States interests by signing a contract to purchase $14.8 billion in natural gas from terrorism exporter Iran, which is the target of international sanctions over its nuclear weapons development program.  Additionally, the United States has expressed confidence that Iraq is permitting Iran to utilize its air space to ship arms and cash to reviled Syrian mass murderer Bashar Al-Assad.
