Arnold Schwarzenegger Returns to the Big Screen - Unfortunate

A Governor Who Preached Reasonable Restrictions on the Availability of Guns Stars in a Movie Featuring "Ultraviolence", "Filled with Carnage": Hypocrisy?

The return to the movie screen of former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in "The Last Stand" is, in my view, unfortunate. Not only has the movie been panned by multiple critics, but they have characterized it as
"ultra violent" and "filled with carnage."

I find irony in the fact that Mr. Schwarzenegger is a longtime advocate of measures to rein in the virtually unlimited access to high-powered weapons and ammunition, yet he makes no connection between real-life violence and that which is part and parcel of  the "entertainment" world, something which many believe serves to desensitize some individuals to pulling a trigger.

I believe it is irresponsible for the former governor of our largest state to act in contravention to what he has endorsed when in the role of political leader. Perhaps money is the controlling factor for him now.
