Recipe: Grilled Salmon

This grilled salmon recipe offers a soy sauce and brown sugar marinade that will have your mouth watering.

With unseasonably warm weather moving into western Pennsylvania this weekend, break out the grill and try this healthy and tasty salmon recipe.

This grilled salmon recipe I found on AllRecipes.com offers a soy sauce and brown sugar marinade that will have your mouth watering.

First, season the salmon fillets with lemon pepper, garlic powder and salt. Then, in a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, brown sugar, water and vegetable oil until sugar is dissolved. Place the fish into a large Ziploc plastic bag with the soy sauce mixture, seal, and turn to coat. Refrigerate for at least two hours.

After that, preheat the grill on medium heat. Lightly oil the grill grate so the fish doesn’t stick. Then place the salmon on the grill and discard marinade.

Cook salmon for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
