Symphony of Food: A Chef's Showcase

The best chefs of Pittsburgh join the 5th Annual Symphony of Food sponored by WOMEN of Southwestern PA, Inc. A Parade of Chefs will be held at Bella Sera Event Venue in Canonsburg.

Four fabulous 2011 Pittsburgh Magazines’ Best Restaurant Chefs will each prepare one of their signature courses. The chefs include: Kevin Sousa, Salt of the Earth; Brian Pekarcik, Spoon; Chet Garland,Toast Kitchen & Wine Bar, BRIX and Rumfish; and Dominic Branduzzi, Piccolo Forno. Chef John Gruner of Giant Eagle’s Market District will provide the luscious appetizers both charcuterie and passed. Each chef comes with a litany of fine-dining successes and the recipefor a fun-filled, palate-pleasing evening concluding with a luscious Sarris’ Candies chocolate dessert. The Chinese auction, with baskets ranging from $200 to $1,200 in value, will further provide an opportunity to end the evening with a pleasant win.
