E-Waste Collection

An E-Waste collection event will be held at South Park’s VIP Parking Lot located at the intersection of Corrigan Drive and 100 Acre Drive in Bethel Park.

Items that will be collected at no charge on Saturday include: televisions; monitors; CPU towers; laptops; mice; keyboards; uninterruptible power supplies; servers; routers; web cameras; hubs; external drives; VCRs; DVD players; stereos; cable boxes; DVRs; large speakers; paper shredders; small appliances (toasters, microwaves, etc.); compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs); cell phones; telephones; modems; and ink and toner cartridges.

Items that will be collected for a fee on Saturday include: batteries at $1/pound.; media, floppy disks, DVDs and CDs at $3/pound; VHS and cassette tapes at $3/pound; fluorescent tubes at $0.25/foot; and small freon-containing appliances (window AC units, dehumidifiers, etc.) at $10 each; For other specialty bulbs, call 412-488-7490 ext. 236 for prices. A certificate of document destruction will be available for $10.
