USC has scored 44 goals this season—by eleven different players. The Panthers have only yielded five goals on strong defensive play by goalkeeper Jocelyn Alfera; starting defenders Val Repischak, Kelsey Rogers, Kristen Walczak, Abbie Schuster and Sami Lackner; and holding midfielders Abbey DeIuliis and Megan Hindman.

From now until the end of the year, the Panthers play a tough schedule with section games against Cannon-McMillan (Oct. 5 at USCHS), at Chartiers Valley (Oct. 10), and a showdown with Moon at home on Oct. 12.  Non-section games include Gateway (Oct. 8 at Hampton), at Peters (Oct. 15) and South Park (Oct. 19), all top-notch soccer teams.

Playoffs should start on Oct. 22.
