Light your way to a Local Tradition - Order your Luminaria Kits Today
Have you ever driven through the various neighborhoods of Upper St. Clair on Christmas Eve and seen the streets and driveways lit up by hundreds of softly glowing candles? These Luminaria, simply made from small candles, placed in brown paper bags weighted with sand are part of a Christmas tradition dating back more than 300 years.
Over the past years many local Upper St. Clair residents, churches and homeowners associations have participated in this tradition of lighting Luminaria as a symbol of warmth, peace and friendliness.
Consider becoming part of this tradition in 2013!
