Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra - Russian and Rusyn Christmas

The Pittsburgh
Civic Orchestra continues its theme of 

"Travel the World in Music” with a celebration of Russian and Rusyn Christmas music.  The concert will take place at 7:30 pm on Saturday, December 21 at the Upper St. Clair High
School Theater, 1825 McLaughlin Run Road in Upper St. Clair. 

Our holiday concert features music from the Russian Christmas tradition including Russian Christmas Music by Alfred Reed, Eight Russian Folk Songs by Anatoly Liadov, and Polonaise from "Christmas Eve" by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. 

Along with holiday favorites
such as Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride
and A Christmas Festival, the PCO
will be joined by the St. Nicholas Rusyn Orthodox

Choir of Homestead who will sing Rusyn Christmas carols.

plans to bring the whole family to this annual Holiday Event!  The young and young-at-heart won’t want to
miss this musical celebration.  And

remember, soft drinks and Christmas cookies are featured at intermission. 

Tickets may be
purchased at the door.  Prices are $15.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors
