Seminar to Explore the
Benefits of a Plant-Based Life
Rebecca
Gilbert, founder of Yummy Plants Vegan Community, will speak about the benefits
of living a plant-based life during a presentation at Metamorphosis Center,
located at 300 Cedar Hill Drive. The event is scheduled to take place at 6:30
p.m. on Thursday, March 6.

Gilbert, who
also is a featured speaker at the NYC Vegetarian Food Festival, Vegetarian
Summerfest, and Paris Vegan Day, is a former competitive figure skater whose
switch to a vegan diet healed her chronic joint pain.

“We are
excited to hear what Rebecca has to say not only about the benefits she has
reaped from living a vegan lifestyle, but how she made the ultimate switch and
how she feels since adopting a new kind of diet,” said Melissa Migliaro, owner
of Metamorphosis.
