If you experienced the death of a spouse, child, other family member, or friend – regardless of how long ago it has been – holidays can be challenging. So often they kindle memories that in turn renew the grief that we have felt.
We are offering an evening to gather with others who are facing the holidays with feelings of grief. This will be an evening to support one another, to discuss strategies for coping with grief at the holiday, and to look to the scripture for words of comfort and support. Led by Dave Fetterman, we will use material from the grief recovery book Beyond the Broken Heart: A Journey through Grief by Julie Yarbrough. You are invited to join us.
