English Lute Music and Love Songs

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Elizabethan love songs in Westminster’s beautiful chapel. Acclaimed performers Barbara Hollinshead, a native of Pittsburgh, and Howard Bass travel from Washington, D.C., to bring us a program of lute songs and solos that tell the Valentine’s story of love in four short acts, encompassing passionate beginnings, courtship, disappointment, and the ever-hoped-for happy ending.
