Upper St. Clair Patch Celebrates Two-Year Anniversary

Happy birthday to us!

Dear Upper St. Clair Patch readers,

It has already been two years since Patch launched in this community and I have one thing to say: Thank you. The site's success is solely because of the support from you.

Since Dec. 15, 2010, you've uploaded nearly 2,000 events, 300 announcements and more than 500 blog posts.

And, with the help of my colleagues, we've published nearly 3,500 articles.

It's fun to reflect on this day of celebration. In December 2010, I was covering the possibility of Trader's Joes coming to Upper St. Clair. Now, it's here, and I'm covering the preliminary plans for a Whole Foods to join the community.

Also in December 2010, I interviewed Sean Casey about how he and his wife were starting to raise money to build a Miracle Field in Upper St. Clair. The Miracle League is now organizing for its second spring season.

It's fun to see how Upper St. Clair Patch has informed and helped the community over the years, and I look forward to continuing to serve the readers to the best of my ability.

Please take the time to learn how you, and your neighbors, can contribute to this community website as well:

Thank you again for your contributions, readership and support.

All the Best,

Congratulations, Becky, and all that are associated with making Patch an information and opinion leader in the community. You provide us what a newspaper cannot, and your local focus provides offerings that are of particular interest to us. We are in your debt! Here's to the next two years and beyond!
