10. wrote about a popular topic, FOOD! Our vegetarian writer took a visit to the little-known restaurant on Bower Hill Road, and according to her review, it is a fabulous, local place for a date night!

9. Dylan Reese took the time to talk with Upper St. Clair Patch about playing in the NHL, playing in the final Civic Arena game against his favorite team and what it takes to become a professional hockey player.

8. In December, members of the Greater Pennsylvania Regional Council of Carpenters held a banner near the local Best Buy that read "Shame on Best Buy." The unemployed carpenters were handing out fliers, speaking out against Best Buy's decision to hire out-of-state contractors to remodel the outside of the store. The store manager said he was frustrated because Best Buy hires a third party contractor to select the best company for each store to work with.
