Tornado Watch in Effect Until 9 p.m.

The severe thunderstorm warning in Upper St. Clair expired at 6:15 p.m. 

The National Weather Service's doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter-size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. 

A tornado watch, not a warning, is in effect until 9 p.m.

As temperature drops, the rain will turn to snow. According to the National Weather Service, new snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible by tomorrow morning.
