Frost Advisory Issued

Frost advisory in effect from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. Thursday.

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh issued a frost advisory for Allegheny County.

The advisory is in effect from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Thursday.

"Clear skies and light winds will allow areas of frost to form late tonight," the weather statement said. "A frost advisory means that frost is possible. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered."

Not only should you make sure your plants are covered or brought indoors, make sure your children are warmly dressed for the bus stop Thursday morning.
