If you love soft pretzels, the Easter Bunny, Dr. Seuss and the orchestra—this weekend is all about you. And the best part—it’s all free.

1) Free Pretzels at all Auntie Annes Locations: Regular or Cinnamon
All locations including South Hills Village, Ross Park Mall, The Mall at Robinson and Monroeville Mall will offer one free pretzel to a customer from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 3. Check out their FB page for more information.

2) It’s Dr. Seuss’s Birthday: Celebrate with Learning Express
You can enjoy this FREE event at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 3 at two locations in Pittsburgh: Learning Express Bakery Square in Shadyside and Learning Express Settler’s Ridge in Robinson

Enjoy an entire day of celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday! You can join in on the fun by signing a GIANT birthday card which honors Dr. Seuss, hear stories and play (I can do that)! If that's not enough fun, help make a Dr. Seuss hat.

3) Garden Party
The Children’s Place is offering an occasion called the Garden Party from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 3 at Monroeville  Mall and The Mall at Robinson.

4) Read Across America at The Mall at Robinson
The Mall at Robinson is offering face painting, art projects, story time and the chance to meet the CAT IN THE HAT—all celebrating Read Across America. The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and it is FREE!

5)  Pittsburgh Youth Symphony
Bring the kids to Heinz Hall for a free concert. A great way to spend time together and not spend a dime, while listening to the WONDERFUL Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra. You need to download and order FREE tickets to attend.

John Williams - Imperial March from Star Wars with Dustin Cramer, winner of PYSO's Conducting Competition

6)  Free Cake, Coffee and a Workshop
If you are out in the Robinson area you can get FREE CHOCOLATE CAKE just for checking in while you are shopping at IKEA. Show you Family Rewards Card and get free coffee or tea too!

On Saturday March 3, the editors from This Old House will be at IKEA Pittsburgh to do a workshop on how to create a kitchen that works for your lifestyle with how-to on measuring, cabinet installation and plumbing and appliance installation. Customers attending the workshop will have a chance to ask these experts their questions as well. It is at 1 p.m. and the workshop is free.

7) Kids Workshop
It’s time to get crafty this weekend at Home Depot. It’s the FREE KIDS WORKSHOP and it’s lots of fun. This is a great way to spend time with your kids and build something neat. It happens this weekend at ALL local Home Depots.  This is perfect for kids agest 5-12. These happen between 9 a.m. and noon.

8)  Meet the Critters
Not sure if an exotic pet is right for you? Go to Petco and "Meet the Critters" from 1 to 2 p.m. March 3 and 4. Even if it's not the right match it is really cool to see the featured animals up close and personal and for free. Check your local Petco for details.
