Upper St. Clair Man Charged with Rite Aid Theft

Bridgeville police state that the incident happened on June 17.

An Upper St. Clair Township man was charged after store security at Rite Aid reported to police that the man stole two items from the store.

Bridgeville Borough police responded to the Rite Aid at the corner of Chartiers Street and Washington Avenue at 10:20 a.m. on June 17 for a report of a theft that had just occurred.

According to the police report, store security told police that they witnessed a man—later identified as Robert A. Olsen, Jr., 56—steal a pair of sunglasses and a small air compressor, with a combined value of $38.65.

Bridgeville police investigated the incident and charged Olsen with retail theft, according to the report.
