Upper St. Clair-Based Business Lays Off Employees, Selling Business Parks

The corporation owns Summerfield.

Upper St. Clair-based Secon Corp. has laid off half of its staff and is putting up two of its three business parks up for sale, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times. 

One of the business parks owned by Secon is in Upper St. Clair—Summerfield Commons. Baker Young Corp., has been named the court-appointed receiver for Summerfield, which is in debt to Huntington Bank, according to the report.

The other two parks, Abele in Bridgeville and Cedar Ridge in Robinson, are under receivership to court-appointed Compass Advisory Partners.
