You're right. The project is on hold, according to the Observer-Reporter.
Because of modifications being made to the building design, construction timing has been delayed, the Giant Eagle spokesperson told the newspaper.
A small grocery store that will sell beer, a GetGo gas station, a pharmacy and a car wash will eventually be constructed on the former Charapp Ford South building property. The demolished building had most recently housed SP Floors, which moved into the old Ethan Allen.
