Outpatient Care Center Opens Allergy Practice

Allergy, Asthma and Immunology practice opens Monday, May 9 in Peters Township.

Allegheny General's nationally-recognized Allergy, Asthma and Immunology practice is set to make its debut in Peters at the West Penn Allegheny Outpatient Care Center Monday.

Physicians David Skoner and Deborah Gentile are leaders in the treatment and research of allergic and immune diseases, according to a release. They offer diagnosis and treatment for children, adolescents and adults with these conditions, evaluating and treating patients using specialized testing and education.

Both doctors are involved in pioneering research into more effective methods of diagnosis and treatment for allergic and immune diseases. They have led nationally-recognized research into the use of sublingual (under-the-tongue) tablets as a convenient alternative to injections for allergy sufferers.
