In celebration of Father's Day coming up this Sunday, The Pie Place in Bethel Park is offering a kids baking class starting at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 14.
At the event, children ages 4 and older can learn the art of creating a homemade pie.
The cost to attend is $20 per person, which includes an apple pie to take home and bake as a special treat for dad. Classes are limited to 15 bakers, so sign up soon by calling 412-835-4410.
The Pie Place is one of the few independent scratch bakeries in the Pittsburgh area and is located at 1775 N. Highland Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15241.
