This week's local business spotlight is The Pie Place, located on North Highland Road.
This local business provides a variety of pies, fruit torts, tortes, cakes and cookies to satisfy your sweet tooth. Sugar-free pies are available by special order, and the shop also serves gourmet coffee, ice cream and sandwiches.
In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day next weekend, The Pie Place will be offering a kids baking class on Saturday, March 16. Children ages 4 and up will make a shamrock cake in a class at 10 a.m. Cost is $20 and requires preregistration by calling The Pie Place at 412-835-4410.
