UPDATE: All of South Hills Village, including Eat'n Park, is open.
Part of South Hills Village was closed Wednesday morning due to an interruption of water service.
The affected areas included the food court, food court restrooms, Macy's, Barnes & Noble, Red Robin and Eat'n Park. With the exception of Macy's, all of these areas were closed for business until water service was restored, according to the South Hills Village Facebook page.
All other public restrooms remained operational, and all other non-affected areas of the mall were open for business.
According to the Pennsylvania American Water Company, the mall's issue is with a private service line, so service to other customers should not be impacted.
