Fans Watch Andy Warhol's Birthday Celebration at Grave Site Through Live Webcam

An Upper St. Clair artist stops by the grave site almost every day, according to a report.

Andy Warhol, who died in 1987 in New York City at the age of 58, has a special gift for his 85th birthday.

The Andy Warhol Museum and EarthCam launched a collaborative project titled "Figment," a live feed of Warhol's grave site at St. John Baptist Byzantine Catholic Cemetery in Bethel Park.

Upper St. Clair artist Madelyn Roehrig stops by the burial plot almost every day to film and interact with visitors and then posts a report on Facebook, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Roehrig is part of the "party" that will take place at Warhol's grave site at 3 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 6.

Warhol's parents, Julia and Andrej, are also buried at the same South Hills cemetery, according to the newspaper.
