Today is the last day to purchase tickets to this year's USC Library Author Luncheon featuring award-winning mystery writer Kathleen George. The event takes place on Sunday, April 22 from 1-3 p.m. at St. Clair Country Club.
Kathleen George, a Pittsburgh resident, is a professor of theatre at the University of Pittsburgh. Her novels, all set in Pittsburgh, feature police detective Richard Christie. Her latest novel, The Odds, was nominated for an Edgar Award for best novel of the year by the Mystery Writers of America in 2010.
