18th Annual Sports Auction Myasthenia Gravis Association Benefit

The Myasthenia Gravis Association of Western PA at Allegheny General Hospital invites all sports fans and collectors to attend the 18th Annual Sports Memorabilia Auction on Sunday, April 29th from 3-7 p.m.  This fun, family-friendly event will be held at the Club at Nevillewood in Presto and will be emceed by sports talk radio’s John Phillips.

Pittsburgh Pirates alumni Steve Blass and Don Schwall will be among the sports celebrities in attendance to sign free autographs.  Also scheduled are Miss Pennsylvania USA Sheena Monnin and Miss Pennsylvania Teen USA Julia Belechak.  Attendees will enjoy the popular sports “grab bags," a delicious buffet, a cash bar, and a basket raffle as well as the Live and Silent Auctions of signed sports memorabilia.

This event will feature approximately 125 autographed items available for bidding and include some of the biggest names in sports such as Marc-Andre Fleury, Evgeni Malkin, Hines Ward, James Farrior, Neil Walker and many more.  All proceeds will benefit the Myasthenia Gravis Association of Western Pennsylvania (MGA of WPA) at Allegheny General Hospital, which provides medical care, educational resources, and support services to those with myasthenia gravis – an autoimmune disorder of muscle weakness with no known cause or cure.
