Coloring Contest Winners Announced

'Butts Out for Wilson' coloring contest received admissions from all over the country.

has announced the "Butts Out for Wilson" coloring contest winners.

Castriota received entries from all over the country, thanks to the Internet. Winners are from Florida; Scranton; South Fayette; Scott Township; and two from Upper St. Clair. 

The two Upper St. Clair winners are both students at . Lauren Caslin is the first place winner in the ages 4-7 group and Michael Martinelli is the third place winner in the ages 8-12 group.

Three prizes were awarded in each age bracket. First place winners received a $50 Toys R Us gift card; second place winners received a $25 Toys R Us gift card; and third place winners received a signed Wilson Gets Adopted book and drawing kit.

The next coloring contest will begin in September. Look for the announcement on the official Wilson Gets Adopted website and Wilson Gets Adopted Facebook page.

Castriota was inspired by her adopted dog, Wilson, to write the book Wilson Gets Adopted. The book highlights the challenges Wilson had to overcome, including the sickness he developed after living with his previous owner.

The book series will continue in November when Castriota's second book is scheduled to be released. It will be called Wilson Learns Manners.
