Book & Bowl Program Under Way at Upper St. Clair Library

Read how to get a free afternoon of bowling.

There's still time to sign up for the Upper St. Clair Library's summer reading program, which ends on Aug. 1.

At the library, children can earn a free game and free shoe rental at AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes simply by reading books. And, all summer reading participants and their parents are invited to a whole afternoon of free bowling at AMF on Aug. 7.

This is the St. Clair Library's fourth year participating in the Book & Bowl program.

"It has been a great reading motivator," said Debra Conn, the library's head of children services, "and our kids and their families are looking forward to our bowling event."

Libraries in Mt. Lebanon, Bethel Park, Bridgeville and Castle Shannon are also participating in this year's Book & Bowl program with AMF.
