Phase of Work on McLaughlin Run Road Ends

Upper St. Clair motorists are seeing heavy congestion in the area.

A spokesman from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0 said that road base repairs along a high-traffic part of McLaughlin Run Road in Upper St. Clair Township should conclude on Saturday, June 29.

UPDATE: Work completed.

The work has ended for Friday but will start up again at 6 a.m. on Saturday with a goal to finish by 3 p.m. that day.

Upper St. Clair motorists were met with heavy congestion because of Friday's work, and that congestion is expected to continue until the work is completed.

The township's Public Works crews are not involved in the work, according to township officials.
