It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Upper St. Clair Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

1. RADical Days
Where?/When?: Various locations, Thursday to Sunday
Why Go?: The Allegheny Regional Asset District presents ! This wonderful four-week event is thank you to the public for their support of the assets through the RAD sales tax. RADical Days features many discounts and free admission to many different exhibits, museums, concerts, festivals and more. Participating locations for this weekend include the , , , and much more. 2.
Where?/When?: , Friday, 7 p.m.
Why Go?: This program is a great opportunity to catch up on those crafts that have been just sitting around. Bring a project you've been working on or something you want to start. Come, hang out and share some ideas. This group is open to all ladies. You do not have to attend the church to come.

3. Homecoming Football Game and Homecoming Events
Where?/When?:
, Friday, 7:30 p.m.
Why Go?:
The Upper St. Clair varsity football team will kick off conference play Friday night against Baldwin High School in their homecoming game. The Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized before the game. The Homecoming court will be recognized at halftime.

Where?/When?: Washington County Fairgrounds, Friday to Sunday, 9 a.m.
Why Go?: This resale features over 50,000 new and gently used maternity clothes, children’s clothes, baby equipment, furniture, toys and more! There will be giveaways, food, vendor tables and free parking. Sunday is half-price day on all price tags marked with a red star.

Where?/When?: South Hills Interfaith Ministries Offices, Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go?: The South Hills Interfaith Ministries Fall Food Drive will run from Sept. 12 to Oct. 17. The and needs help restock its shelves! The top five needed items are cereal, canned tuna, pasta sauce, macaroni and cheese and packaged side dishes like instant potatoes, rice-a-roni, etc.

Where?/When?: South Side Works, Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go?: DogtoberFEST is a one-day event to promote dog adoptions and raise awareness about rescues and shelters in Western PA. The event will be held in the parking lot next to McCormick and Schmick's on Sidney Street. This outdoor festival will feature dozens of animal shelters, breed-specific rescues, specialty vendors and guest DJs from ClearChannel Radio. This year, we are presenting a Pooch Pride Parade and Costume Contest with up to $500 in prizes for Most Original Costume and Dog/Owner Look-Alike. The pet parade begins at 11 a.m. Enjoy homemade food, live entertainment, training demonstrations, Ask-A-Trainer and Ask-A-Vet booths, plus any eligible dogs can participate in the on site rabies clinic. Adoptable dogs from across our region will be featured and available for meet-and-greets but any adoptions will be handled after the event through the individual rescues. Dogs from the public are welcome to come and meet the adoptable dogs or just have a day out on the town. Public dogs must be current on vaccinations and on a non-retractable leash. Fenced meet-and-greet areas and potty break areas will be available for all dogs.
Pricing: Admission is free for the public. The entry fee for the parade is $5.

7.
Where?/When?: St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Saturday, 2 p.m.
Why Go?: Lydia Circle of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is hosting a Victorian Tea and Presentation of Authentic Victorian Clothing By Patti Peer. Patti will wear and show authentic Victorian and Edwardian Clothes from 1890’s-1920. Her collection includes corsets, bustles, small waistlines, high top shoes, beaded bags and hats. This will be a fun afternoon of tea, lovely cakes, treats and fashions of the day. Tickets can be purchased on Sundays and in the church office. Proceeds benefit outreach programs.

8.
Where?/When?: , Saturday, 7 p.m.
Why Go?: is for the Hello Bully Halfway House. The event features an open bar, juice bar, hors d'oeuvres, buffet, DJ, dancing, raffles and an auction. The cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served from 7 to 8 p.m. and dinner is served in the grand ballroom at 8 p.m. Tickets must be purchased by Sept. 28.

Where?/When?: , Saturday, 7 to 11 p.m.
Why Go?: The Community Foundation of Upper St. Clair presents the benefiting academic, arts, and athletic programs of the Upper St. Clair School District and featuring the class of 2011 Halls of Fame inductees. The Gala will serve the dual purposes of honoring the spectacular achievements of the class of 2011 Halls of Fame inductees and raising much needed funds for the academic, arts and athletic programs offered by the school district but not fully supported in the current budget.

Where/When: , Saturday, 11 a.m.
Why Go?: Art Under Glass is an event which celebrates art and the fall season with many talented artists and crafters, local musicians and entertainers as well as delicious local foods, wine tasting, and fall activities such as hayrides, pumpkin picking, a hay maze, and even a football tailgate tent so you can watch the game! This year's participating artists represent a broad range of artistic disciplines ranging from painters and sculpters to quilters and carvers.
