Water Main Break on McMillan Road Causing Service Problems

Five customers are without water and others are experiencing low pressure and cloudy or discolored water.

A 12-inch water main break on McMillan Road between Fort Couch and Painters Run roads in Upper St. Clair is expected to be fixed by early Friday evening, according to Pennsylvania American Water.

The company estimates that about five customers are without service, while others in proximity to the break may be experiencing low pressure, discolored or cloudy water, while repairs are being made. The company advises customers to run their water until its clear and says the water is safe to consume.
