USC and Pennsylvania's Cinderella Mini Miss Wins International Title

Pennsylvania's own Cinderella Mini Miss and resident from Upper St. Clair, Hannah Schwartz, brought home with her a big trophy, sparkling crown and an international title.

took her big smile and winning personality to Las Vegas this month to compete in the International Cinderella Scholarship Pageant.

The journey paid off. Hannah was chosen out of a group of 95 different girls from all over the world to receive one of the five international titles in her age group.

Now Hannah is no longer just Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania’s Cinderella Mini Miss, but also the world’s International Cover Girl!

“A lot of people didn’t go home with something so we were excited,” said Hannah’s mother, Ginger Schwartz.

Hannah’s favorite perk about the new title?

“You get a bigger crown,” she said while her mother tried to pin the aforementioned crown onto her head.

This time was a bit more nerve racking for the Schwartzes. All the girls performed to a huge theater which Ginger compared to the Benedum, but full of other contestants and parents as the audience.

The competition was steep. Ginger said a lot of the girls talent acts were reminiscent of any professional Las Vegas show.

“That was the most exciting part. It’s not amateur talent,” Ginger said.

The International Cover Girls are judged mainly based on natural beauty, personality, and how photogenic they are. The winners get their photos printed in the front of the pageant’s program book which is distributed to all the pageant attendees and their families.

After a long week everything came full circle and Hannah received her crown and sash on stage in front of the crowd.

But it wasn’t all work for Hannah and Ginger.

They also attended theme parties, got a few chances to sightsee and go shopping, and according to mom bonded well one on one.

The Schwartzes got to meet people from all over the United States and beyond including girls from China and the Bahamas.

“We both met so many people both moms and girls and everyone was super nice,” Ginger said.

Now with both a state and international title under her belt, the question is will Hannah persist on her pageant path?

“I want to my mom doesn’t,” Schwartz said with a smile.

The two exchanged a look.

“It’s too soon to ask me that!” Schwartz’s mother responded with a tired laugh.
