Upper St. Clair Seniors Celebrate Kentucky Derby

Games, food and lots of fun at the Upper St. Clair Community and Recreation Center Thursday night!

On the first Thursday of every month, the meet to play cards and games—keeping their minds sharp and providing a great social opportunity.

But on this Thursday, game day was extra special.

Starting last year, the group teamed up with the to make May's card and game day a Kentucky Derby theme.

Residents and friends gathered to enjoy board games, cards, gambling games, Wii games and refreshments—including Derby Punch and Kentucky Caviar.

They also watched the Kentucky Derby races from 1945, 1950, 1980, 1985 and 1999.
