Upper St. Clair Community Day: Four Events Require Registration

Community Day is May 18, 2013.

Upper St. Clair's Community Day is coming up this weekend, May 18.

There will be a variety of activities to entertain your family, and four of them require registration.

  1. Run for Fun: Unlike last year, participants will not be turned away, according to Lynn Walcoff, community programs coordinator. There should be enough running chips for all runners and walkers. However, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get to the high school parking lot early to register. Registration begins at 7:45 and ends at 8:30 a.m. The race begins at 9 a.m. The cost to participate is $10. A map of the race route is in the media box to the right.
  2. 16th Annual Hottest Dog Contest: Participants must register by May 16. Enter your dog into the Cutest Puppy, Best-dressed Dog, Cutest Dog, Most Talented Dog or Dog Most Resembling Its Owner categories. The entry fee is $5. The resgistration form is in the media box to the right.
  3. 10th Annual USC Bake-Off for Kids: Register Wednesday, May 15. Desserts in the Most Patriotic, Most Original and Favorite TV Show, Movie or Book categories should be dropped off at the old Recreation Center on McLaughlin Run Road between 5 and 6 p.m. Friday, May 17. Winners will be announced 11 a.m. Saturday. The registration form is in the media box to the right.
  4. Toddler Trot: Toddlers ages 12 months to four years will race in the Founders' Field outfield at 2 p.m. Registration is required by 1 p.m. The race if free. A registration form is in the media box to the right.
