Pair of Upper St. Clair Roads on Water System Upgrades List

Pennsylvania American Water Company officials have announced plans to replace aging main water pipes in their service areas, including Upper St. Clair Township.

The Upper St. Clair roads that will be affected by the water main replacements are Lincoln Drive and adjoining Carmelita Drive. The water company has not revealed exactly when Lincoln and Carmelita will be affected.
A company spokeswoman said that media will be alerted only if "we anticipate extended traffic disruptions.
"At this time, traffic patterns should not be disrupted as a result of any of these projects. Although, flaggers may be present at some locations."
