Life Goes On After Disappointing Super Bowl Loss

Upper St. Clair residents get back to normal on Monday after the Pittsburgh Steelers lose in Sunday's Super Bowl.

It's back to work and back to school for 20,000 Upper St. Clair residents. Most of whom spent their Sunday night cheering on the black and gold.

The Green Bay Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25 in Super Bowl XLV. It was a huge disappointment for Steelers fans, after two weeks of hype leading up to the game.

Sunday felt like a holiday in Upper St. Clair. Steelers music was blasting at the Giant Eagle Market District, as customers gathered their last minute party ingredients. Around 4 p.m., few cars were on the roadway. Most fans were already at their Super Bowl watching destination.

On the contrast, immediately after the game, there were traffic jams on the roadways. McMurray Road was completely packed, as unhappy fans rushed home to go to bed. Within 30 minutes after the championship game, only two cars remained in the parking lot at the popular sports bar in the neighborhood, .

Steelers fans really thought quarterback Ben Roethlisberger would come through at the end of the game, and lead a drive down the field for a touchdown, as he has done many times in the past. When it didn't happen, Steelers fans were stunned, and bitter. No one wanted to talk about the loss. And no one wanted their picture taken.

However, if you snapped some fun pictures during your Super Bowl celebrations, send them our way! We want to see the party food you made, the terrible towel twirling after a touchdown or if you made the trip to Dallas, show off your trip through photos! Add them to the slideshow below.

We also want to see any videos you created. Make sure you take a moment to watch the YouTube video that a fifth grade student at Boyce Middle School produced. Very impressive!
