1. Celebrate Valentine's Day at the Library
When/Where:
 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the

2.
When/Where:
11 a.m. - noon Saturday at
Why Go: Make four heart cookie necklaces and decorate gift boxes, plus get a heart cookie to munch on!
Pricing: $20 for children ages 4-10 

3. Pittsburgh International Auto Show
When/Where:
10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center
Why Go: The auto show is a supermarket for anything and everything that has wheels.
Pricing: Children under 12 are free, general admission is $10, $7 for senior citizens age 60 and above and those with a military ID
Bonus: Stop by a Subway to pick up a $2 coupon while supplies last

4. Hot Apple Cider Walk
When/Where:
1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Allegheny Commons
Why Go: Families will stroll around the park. After, they will indulge in hot, apple cider with whipped cream. 
Pricing: $5 for children, non-members and members
Bonus: The temperature is expected to reach 40 degrees Saturday. 

5. Parents' Night Out
When/Where: 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. (or 11 p.m. for $10 more) at the Carnegie Science Center
Why Go: Your child will enjoy a dinner, an Omnimax movie, a laser show and a science workshop as you and your partner get a few hours of romantic freedom.
