It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Upper St. Clair Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Where/When: , Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m.
Why Go?: September Family Night will feature live entertainment from storyteller and musician, Billy Evans.  Special guest, Doug Martin from Doug Martin Photography will also be joining the program to share information about photo restoration for any of your cherished old photographs.  A complimentary dessert buffet prepared by Executive Chef Ben will follow the show.

Where?/When?: St. Peter & St. Paul Hall, Friday to Saturday, 8 p.m.
Why Go?: Stage & Steel Productions presents End Game: The rolePLAY! After the loss of a friend, Fred, this group of gamers gather together in his memory. They find out that on his request they are to play a game that he had written for them after he was gone. The players grow and change throughout the game as their game characters live the story for the audience. The game was supposed to be finding a treasure, but leads to another quest, one that leads into danger and darkness. See the connections between the players and their characters, as they all pay homage to the passing of a friend. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Where/When: Downtown Canonsburg, Saturday, 10 a.m.
Why Go?: Come enjoy the 13th Annual Oktoberfest in downtown Canonsburg! Enjoy your favorite German foods and entertainment and add that extra fun twist that only Canonsburg can provide. The event also features kids’ activities, music, the Pittsburgh Railway and more!

Where?/When?: Greentree Rd & Forsythe Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220, Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Why Go?: The neighborhood located between Greentree and Forsythe roads will hold a multi-family garage sale. Items include toys, books, videos, household items, tools, electronics, clothing and more. Come check out some great bargains and browse through a huge selection of items.

Where?/When?: 292 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236 (Old Value City Department Store), Saturday, 9 a.m.
Why Go?: This huge consignment sale will feature thousands of high quality pieces including clothes, toys, strollers, shoes, books and more. The start time of the sale varies, so be sure to check the schedule online.

Where/When: , Saturday, 12 to 2 p.m.
Why Go: Stop by the library and visit vendor tables of many area holistic practioners from a variety of disciplines. Learn what services are available, sample products and make connections.

Where?/When?: Pottery Barn at the Galleria, Saturday, 3 to 5 p.m.
Why Go?: Pottery Barn rolls out the red carpet for the anticipated Blu-ray release of the Star Wars saga. Dress up as your favorite character and bring your camera for a photo op, giveaways, and chance to win a Blu-ray box set.

Why Go?: The Upper St. Clair Girls Basketball Boosters invites you to a Night at the Races! The event will be held in the St. Louise Social Hall. Tickets may be purchased at the door.

Where/When: , Saturday, 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Why Go?: Parents and kids are welcome to use the library's Legos, foam and wooden blocks and Lincoln Logs to create many different things!
Pricing: Free.

Where?/When?: , Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Why Go?: Come sample Bedner's homegrown, farm fresh veggies. You'll love these easy and healthy dishes that are prepared with the farm's seasonal produce and herbs. Recipes will be available to take home. The farm will post will be available to sample every Friday on the Taste of Bedner's Facebook page.
