Just because it's spring break and Easter weekend doesn't mean there's nothing going on!
Here's a look at what's happening in and around Upper St. Clair this weekend:

Where/When: , 8 a.m. on Thursday through Saturday
Why Go: Westminster Presbyterian Church has made available a thirty-six foot canvas labyrinth for meditative walking. The labyrinth walk will feature The Way of the Cross, a holy week meditation. Along the path of the labyrinth, you will encounter Bible verses and pictures depicting the final days of Christ’s journey. The community is welcome to use the indoor labyrinth during holy week as well as the outdoor labyrinth in the south courtyard throughout the year.

Why Go: Each child will decorate a dozen cupcakes using basic cake decorating techniques to take home and enjoy for Easter. Class size is limited, so register today by calling The Pie Place at 412-835-4410.

Why Go: The Conversation Salon meets on the first Friday of each month in the multi-purpose room. Join the group for good conversation about current events! This month's topic is the role of education in creating a viable civilization. Registration is requested for first-time visitors. Call 412-835-5540 to register.

Why Go: This fun day includes activities for toddlers through grade 6. Games, crafts, stories, snacks, an egg hunt for younger children and The Colors of Easter storybook for older children are planned. All must be pre-registered and accompanied by an adult. Registration flyers are on the Information Tables at the church and on the church website. For more information call 412-835-6621.

5. Where/When: Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, 8 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go: A one-of-a-kind night of music and lasers for the whole family, courtesy of the internationally renowned Lightwave International.
Pricing: A donation is suggested. All the donations will help local families in need.
