Here are 10 events you'll want to know about this weekend.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Well, Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our picks for the best activities to hit.

Where/When:
, Now through Monday, Jan. 23
Why Go?: Upper St. Clair officials ask that residents recycle their Christmas trees. Trees should be dropped off in the upper parking lot. They will be made into mulch for residents' use.

2.
Where/When: South Park, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday-Sunday
Why Go?: The 4th Annual Christmas Tree Recycling will be held in the South Park wave pool parking lot. Residents can drop off trees daily. All lights, decorations, tinsel and stands must be removed from trees prior to drop-off. The trees will be mulched and used in the Allegheny County parks.

Where/When:, 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday
Why Go?: The Conversation Salon meets on the first Friday of each month in the multi-purpose room. Join the group for good conversation about current events! Registration is requested for first-time visitors. Call 412-835-5540 to register.

Where?/When?: South Park, 6 p.m. on Friday
Why Go?: The PIHL Charity Hockey Games will be held at the South Park Ice Skating Rink. The rink will be closed from Jan. 4 to 6 to public skating. The 6 p.m. game will feature Westmont Hilltop vs. and the proceeds from the game will benefit the Hillman Cancer Center. Mt. Lebanon will play against Pittsburgh Central at 8 p.m. in a game benefiting the Paul Sciullo II Scholarship.
Pricing: $5 per person

Where?/When?:, 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday
Why Go?: Need something for the family to do during winter? There is no better place to turn than Trax Farms’ Indoor Flea Market. You are guaranteed to find something unique from the 83 vendors selling antiques, gifts, collectibles, clothing, apparel, hobbies, food and much more in our events room. Whether you're just browsing or ready to buy, there is something for everyone!  
Pricing: Free parking and admission, prices vary.

Where?/When?: , 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: The New Year Wellness Fair will feature local and regional business vendors, giveaways, fitness demo classes, health and wellness awareness, resources and  much more to promote healthy living!

Where?/When?:, 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?:  This Spanish Language class starts this Saturday and runs for 10 weeks. Children in this class don't sit still for long! Accompanied by parents or caregivers, these young "students," ages 1 1/2 to 3 years, start learning a new language through a variety of activities designed to engage their minds and bodies. These "play classes" are great for parents and caregivers who want to learn a new language alongside their children! Click here to register.
Pricing: One trial class is $15, $150 for one class a week ($15 per class) with a sibling rate of $100. $225 for two classes a week with a sibling rate of $150. There will be a one time material fee of $40 for materials.

Where?/When?: , noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Break the Ice is a fundraiser sponsored by the USC Aquatics Community. This family social luncheon will help support the USC Aquatics community and its purchase of a combined record board to be maintained at USCHS pool for USCHS Swim/Dive Team and USC Swim Club. All USC residents and their families and any USC Alumni are invited. The fundraiser is held at Outback Steakhouse on McLaughlin Run Road. There will be open seating from 12 to 2 p.m. Purchasing an adult ticket will automatically put you in the running for a chance to win a Pittsburgh sports package.

Where/When: Michaels, 1 to 3 pm. and 3:30 to 4 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Starting at 1 p.m., make a fuzzy backpack friend. This is a free make-it take-it while supplies last. The event is for ages 4 and up. At 3:30 p.m., wrap yourself in creativity with a multi-strand chair scarf. The program is for ages 3 and up.

Where?/When?: , 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday
Why Go?: The Jewish Community Center will hold a panel discussion for parents who are thinking of sending their children to the JCC South Hills Summer Day Camps. Call 412-278-1975 ext 204 or email ahaalman@­jccpgh.­org to RSVP.
