It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Upper St. Clair Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Where?/When?:
Westminster Presbyterian Church parking lot, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Why Go?:
It is the USC Lions Club's Farmers Market last day of the season. You can find pumpkins, apple cider and much more.

2.
Where?/When?: Mt. Lebanon Ice Center, Friday, 4:20 to 6:30 p.m.
Why Go?: Bring the family for an afternoon of ice skating and enjoy the special effects lighting, DVD videos and arcade games.  
Pricing: $4.75 admission, $2 skate rental.

Where?/When?: , Friday to Sunday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.  
Why Go?: The Giant Eagle Market District will have special fire prevention themed crafts, games, prizes and more! All activities are for ages 3 to 9 and will be held in the "eagles nest."

Where?/When?: Hundred Acres Manor, Friday and Saturday, 7 to 11:30 p.m.
Why Go?: Get into the Halloween spirit and get ready to be scared! Visit Pittsburgh's largest haunted house each weekend through Oct. 30. Check out the spooks and scares by clicking here.

Where?/When?: Old Habitat Re-Store, Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go?: There will be a "bag sale" at the old Habitat Re-Store located in downtown Washington. A $5 fee will be charged and you may have all that you can carry in one trip. You may re-enter for an additional $3 fee as often as you like. No grocery carts, wagons, will be permitted. Bring a bag and take advantage of this unique shopping experience. Habitat for Humanity would like to thank the Washington community for its support and interest in the Re-Store program.
Pricing: $5 for first visit, $3 for any time after.

Where?/When?: South Hills Village Mall, Saturday, 12 to 3 p.m.
Why Go?: The Kidgits® Pumpkin Decorating Event will be held in the lower level North Court of the South Hills Village Mall. Simon Kidgits Club Members receive their very own mini pumpkin to personalize with spook-tacular decorations! Stop by Guest Services for more information.

Where?/When?: , Saturday, 1:30 p.m.
Why Go?: Bring the family to the Fall Family Matinee! The Little Lake Theatre presents Anne of Green Gables based on the novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Anne and her friends will visit you as you enjoy tea or lemonade, sandwiches and yummy dessert treats.
Pricing: Children 15 and under: $12; Adults: $14.

Where?/When?: , Saturday 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Why Go?: This is the 4th Annual Infant & Pregnancy Loss Walk and Memorial Service. The event is free and open to all who have been affected by the loss of an infant or unborn baby. The walk will be held in the outdoor pavilion.

Where?/When?: St. Anne Parish, Sunday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Why Go?: This fair trade "work of human hands" sale will feature soaps, jewelry, toys and more. Proceeds benefit parish’s social ministry and St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Pricing: Admission is free.

Where?/When?:Denis Theatre, Sunday, 5 to 7 p.m.
Why Go?: Join film lovers for a discussion of Susan Bier's In a Better World, the 2010 Academy Award Best Foreign Film, and watch the film (streaming, Netfix, libraries etc). The group will meet for appetizers, wine and soft drinks and a lively exchange of thoughts about this though provoking film. Click here to sign up.
