It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Upper St. Clair Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Where?/When?: South Park Pool, Thursday, 10-10:45 a.m.
Why Go?: The Allegheny County Parks Department is offering free swimming lessons at the South Park swimming pool. Participants must be five years of age or older. Classes for individuals with last names beginning with "A" through "K" are held on Tuesdays and classes for individuals with last names beginning with "L" through "Z" are held on Thursdays!
Pricing: FREE.

Where/When: Wingfield Pines, Thursday, 4:30 p.m.
Why Go: The Allegheny Land Trust's new John Hamm Intern, Max Vietmeier, will lead a discussion on how the Passive Abandoned Mine Drainage (AMD) system has brought life back to Chartiers Creek. Participants will also observe and identify the native flora and fauna of Wingfield Pines. All are welcome!

Where/When: , Thursday, 5 - 5:30 p.m.
Why go?: Casual concerts for all ages will display the wonderfully varied sounds of the organ. Only 30 minutes in length, each program will feature exceptional music, including some you won’t hear in worship. You will hear outstanding performers from area churches, and you will remember why the pipe organ is called the King of Instruments. Westminster Organ Summer is part of the church’s Music & Arts Series. The free concerts are made possible thanks to the generosity of the performers. This week, Craig Dobbins will perform.

Where?/When?: South Park Theater, Thursday-Saturday, 8 p.m. and Sunday, 2 p.m.
Why Go?: South Park Theater presents "The Kitchen Witches." The play centers around two "mature" cable-access cooking show hostesses, who have hated each other for 30 years. The ladies come together on a TV show called The Kitchen Witches and the insults are flung harder than the food! The play is directed by Dek Ingraham.
Pricing: $12 Admission, $10/Subscribers, Group Rates: $2 off per person, for groups of 15 or more

Why Go?: Pre-school children, ages 3 1/2 - 5, will enjoy this fun and educational half-hour class of songs, finger plays and book-related activities.

Where?/When?: South Park Amphitheater, Friday, 7:30 p.m.
Why Go?: This week, Maia Sharp & Moveable Feast will perform as part of the Allegheny County Summer 2011 Concert Series.

Why Go?: Ages 3 and up will experience Mexican heritage through craft. Participants will create their own Mexican sun and tissue paper flower while supplies last.

Where?/When?: , Saturday, 1:30 p.m.
Why Go?: The Rock-n-Hockey event features an ice hockey game at 1:30 p.m. where local police will play against celebrities and Pittsburgh Penguins alumni. At 4 p.m. there will be a Battle of the Bands rock concert with JINX, RPGS and 33 1/3. The event will be held at the . Proceeds will benefit two are police officers who received critical injuries in the line of duty. All proceeds from the event will benefit the families of Cranberry Police Corporal Dan Hahn, who was badly injured in pursuing a suspect on February 14, and Clairton police officer James Kuzak who received gunshot wounds on April 4 in response to a home invasion call. In addition to the entertainment, there will be prizes, food, skating, auctions and a 50/50 drawing. The public skate session will run from 4-6 p.m. and the picnic buffet will be served at at 4 p.m
